The TTE JR2 Complete Primary Clutch Kit is a direct replacement clutch system designed for JR2 Trophy Kart race applications. This kit was developed for racers who do not already have an original CMI clutch, allowing you to install a complete clutch assembly ready to run.

This system fits Honda GX390 engines with a 1" crankshaft and is designed to run a 7/8" drive belt, matching the common JR2 race setup.

Many JR2 race cars originally came equipped with CMI billet primary clutches, but as those parts age and wear, finding replacement components has become more difficult. The TTE Complete Primary Clutch Kit solves that problem by providing a full clutch assembly built to replace the original CMI system.

The kit includes our TTE Primary Clutch Sheeves, precision machined in-house from high-quality 6061 aluminum to restore smooth clutch faces and proper belt engagement. Worn clutch faces can create deep grooves that are extremely hard on belts, causing accelerated belt wear and inconsistent clutch performance. Our sheeves eliminate those issues while maintaining proper clutch geometry.

Every component is selected to deliver smooth clutch operation, durability, and consistent performance on the track.
